As your site or business grows, your hosting resources or level of support may need to grow with it. Plan changes are handled directly by our team rather than through a self-service toggle, so nothing changes on your account or your live site without confirmation first.
Requesting an upgrade
Log in to your client account and submit a support ticket specifying what you'd like to change — a higher hosting tier, additional storage, or moving to a different maintenance retainer plan. If you're not sure what you actually need, describe the problem instead (site running slowly, need faster support response times, adding a second site) and we'll recommend the right change rather than the most expensive one.
How billing works when you upgrade
Plan changes are prorated to your existing billing cycle — you're only charged the difference for the remaining time on your current cycle, not a full new invoice on top of what you've already paid. Your next renewal will reflect the new plan's full price going forward.
Downgrading a plan
Downgrades work the same way — submit a ticket, and we'll confirm what the change means for your resources or support level before applying it, since some downgrades (particularly hosting resource reductions) need a quick check that your site will still run comfortably on the smaller plan.
Zero-downtime changes
Hosting resource upgrades (storage, bandwidth, processing allocation) are applied without any interruption to your live site. Changes to your support retainer tier take effect from your next billing cycle unless you need the faster response time immediately, in which case flag that in your ticket and we can apply it right away.
