WebAcumen Microsite: Important Terms & Conditions
Dear Valued Client,
To ensure complete transparency and a smooth working relationship, please take a moment to carefully review the following terms and conditions that apply to all WebAcumen Microsite purchases. By proceeding with a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
1. Project Scope & Deliverables
Your WebAcumen Microsite package is designed to provide a high-impact, single-page website. It includes:
-
Custom Design & Development: A professionally designed and developed one-page website, built using the content and imagery you provide, and meticulously aligned with your brand’s colors, fonts, and logo.
-
Essential Sections: Your Microsite will always include the core “About Us,” “Services/Solution,” and “Contact” sections. Any optional sections you select (e.g., Customer Reviews, Gallery) will also be integrated.
-
Standard Contact Form: A built-in “Contact Us / Message Us” form for direct client inquiries. Messages submitted via this form will be sent to up to 5 designated email addresses you provide.
-
Clear Call-to-Action (CTA) Implementation: Your CTAs will be strategically set up to either smoothly scroll visitors to specific sections on your Microsite (like your contact form or About Us section) or to directly initiate a chat via your WhatsApp Business Chat Link.
-
Initial Imagery Policy: If you are unable to provide suitable images for your site, we will use high-quality, brand-appropriate stock images. Please be aware that any subsequent changes to these stock images (replacing them with your own photos, or different stock images) will fall under Content & Design Adjustments as part of our SLA Retainer Support Plan.
Features Not Included (Requiring Separate Enquiry):
Please understand that your Microsite is a highly specialized, single-page solution. Complex features such as multi-page navigation (beyond on-page anchors), advanced subscription forms, integrated booking systems, e-commerce checkout functionalities directly on the page, or custom functionalities not explicitly listed above, are not included in this package. These would require a separate enquiry and may incur additional development costs.
Please also note: Website hosting is not included as part of the base Microsite package. If you require hosting services, we’d be happy to provide a tailored hosting solution as a separate offering.
2. Payment & Refund Policy
We strive for clear and fair financial terms:
-
No Refunds: All purchases of a WebAcumen Microsite are final and non-refundable. This policy reflects the immediate allocation of resources, commencement of design, development, and hosting setup specifically tailored for your project upon purchase.
-
Commitment to Project: By purchasing a Microsite, you commit to the project and acknowledge that no refunds will be issued once the sale is complete.
3. Project Workflow & Your Responsibilities
For the most efficient and successful project, your active participation is vital:
-
Content & Imagery Submission: We rely entirely on you to provide all necessary content and imagery as outlined in our “Pre-Purchase Content & Imagery Guide.” Delays in submission will directly affect the project timeline.
-
Revisions: Your package includes a set number of revisions during the development phase. The specifics will be discussed with you upon project initiation. Please note that major structural changes requested after initial design approval may incur additional costs.
-
Communication: Timely communication and constructive feedback from your side are essential for keeping your project on track and ensuring the final product meets your vision.
4. Client Sign-Off & Project Completion
Your final approval is the final step before your Microsite is ready:
-
Formal Approval: Before your Microsite goes live, we will provide you with a final preview. It’s your responsibility to thoroughly review all content, imagery, design elements, and functionality.
-
Required Sign-Off: We require your formal written sign-off (e.g., via email confirmation or a signed document) indicating your explicit approval of the completed Microsite. This sign-off confirms your satisfaction with the project and formally marks the project as complete and ready for launch.
-
Project Completion: The project is considered formally completed upon your written sign-off.
5. Ongoing Support & Maintenance
While your Microsite is a robust standalone tool, consistent care ensures its long-term performance:
-
Initial Post-Completion Support: We provide limited initial support for critical issues directly related to the completed Microsite for a short period after handover (e.g., 7 days).
-
SLA Retainer Support Plan: For comprehensive, proactive maintenance, priority support, and regular updates (including any subsequent changes to images or content), we highly recommend our WebAcumen SLA Retainer Support Plan. This plan is a strategic partnership designed to keep your digital tools strong, secure, and scalable. Details of this plan can be found on our website or by contacting us directly.
