How does it work with an existing website?
If you already have a website, you have the option to transfer it into one of our Website Packages. We will redesign your website using the most relevant, cutting-edge technologies and trends and also do any updates/changes you may require.

Do Website Packages offer scale-ability?
Yes, your website can grow with your business! In the event that you require more server resources or maintenance time slots, you can request an upgrade in writing or via our upgrade page and we will have your package updated in no time!
What if I want to downgrade my package?
Should you wish to downgrade to a smaller package, you can do so by requesting it in writing to info[at]webacumen.co.za.

Do you offer marketing services?
Yes, WebAcumen employs fully qualified staff ready to assist you with your Digital Marketing journey, including SEO, Social Media, Google Ads, etc.
Do prices increase annually?
No! There are no annual price increases. WebAcumen clients benefit from our Triennial Price Promise. Prices stay unchanged for 3-year cycles, after which a 10% increase is applied.
E.g. John signs up in 2021 for the Femto Package (our most popular package) at R199 per month. For the next 3 years, John will continue to pay only R199 per month. When the 3-year cycle is completed in 2024, John will pay R218.90 per month, a 10% increase of R19.90.
Can I cancel my package at any time?
Within the first 36 months:
Should you wish to completely cancel your package and keep your website, you will have the option to buy the design in order to own it. In the case that you do not wish to own the website, all your data will be exported and provided to you and the website (the design) will be terminated. We do not keep backups of canceled websites.
After 36 months:
WebAcumen carries a 30-day termination notice period. You will be liable for one (1) final month’s fees, excluding the month in which you cancel, following your termination notice as the service remains active for a final 30 days. If you are an annual customer and have settled hosting for 12 months in advance, a refund will be calculated taking the final one-month fee into account.
Can I transfer my website to another web host?
Most certainly. Should you wish to transfer before 36 months are completed, you will need to settle the outstanding balance on the agreement.
If 36 months have passed (or if payment in full has been received) and you wish to transfer to another web hosting provider, you simply request that the new hosting provider submit a transfer ticket to us which we will accept and release your website to your new web host. But why would you do that?
Can you assist with logo design and letterheads etc?
Yes, WebAcumen offers Graphic Design services as well. We design logos, letterheads, business cards, websites, mobile apps, etc.
What are add-ons?
Add-ons are features that you can add to your website e.g. forms, maps, youtube videos, etc. Each package comes with an allocated number of add-ons that can be added free of charge while maintaining the ability to add/remove add-ons at a later stage and/or to invest in premium add-ons as well.
Standard Add-ons include (but not limited to):
Audio Player, Blog, Call to Action, Contact Form, Please Call Me Form, Custom Forms, Data/Pricing Tables, Downloads, Google Maps Integration, Image slider, Photo Gallery, Site Search, Social Media Integration, Youtube Integration, etc.
Premium Add-ons include (but not limited to):
E-Commerce, Live Chat, Advanced SEO, Advanced Security, Advanced Performance, Analytics, Marketing, Bookings, Payment Gateway Integration, CDN, etc.
Can I manage my own website content?
Yes. You will be required to sign a Liability Agreement stating that you have chosen to manage your own content and take full responsibility for any damages/data loss as a result of improper operation.
